About Us

Here at Rescue Tails Animal Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) non profit animal sanctuary, we are driven to do our part in making the world a better place. Founded by former zookeepers, Rescue Tails Animal Sanctuary exists to give animals a new chance at a loving home and an amazing life. From farm animals to exotics, all animals deserve to be rescued from abusive homes or living situations and given a chance to live their days happy and taken care of. That's what we're here for - we've seen the worst that can happen to animals, so we offer them the chance at the best.

Our team is made up of former zookeepers and aquarists - dedicated, passionate individuals who have taken their love of animals beyond a passion and beyond a career, and turned it into a genuine charitable cause. Animal rescue is close to our hearts, and it is our goal to spread that mission with our community.

What We Do

Recognizing the enormity of the challenges abused animals and the people who rescue them face, Rescue Tails Animal Sanctuary is dedicated to making a lasting impact to improve the lives of animals and their caretakers nationwide. Our efforts are driven by our passion for what we do, our love of animals, and our dedication to animal health and welfare. In addition to animal rescue and the care of animals, we believe it is important to educate and raise awareness of the challenges and health issues animal caretakers face on a daily basis. Without caretakers, animals cannot be rescued - we believe the two belong hand-in-hand. An animal sanctuary provides a long-term home for animals to recover, socialize, and live better lives.

Education

Rescue Tails Animal Sanctuary is dedicated to educating our community and beyond on the importance of animal health and welfare. We cannot save animals without the help of people who love them, and education is the beginning of passion!

Community Outreach

Community outreach is a huge part of any non-profit organization, and Rescue Tails Animal Sanctuary is no different. We love to have our community come and visit and interact with the animals, learning about the individuals who care for them as well as each species.
